Deluxe Rooms and Suites in the original section of the hotel offer breathtaking views across the deep Zambezi River gorge to the Victoria Falls Bridge and the spray of the Falls.
The suites and rooms are well appointed, cool and comfortable; furnished in traditional Edwardian style, all air-conditioned with every modern amenity, including satellite television, mini-bars in suites, complimentary early morning tea/coffee, direct dial telephone, personal safe, 24-hour room service, bathrobes, hairdryer, umbrellas for personal use during your stay when visiting the Falls.
There are two all-weather, floodlit tennis courts on site. A full range of other sports is available nearby, including an 18-hole, championship golf course at Elephant Hills Intercontinental (5 minutes drive from The Victoria Falls Hotel), Casino located at the Kingdom Hotel (5 minutes walk from The Victoria Falls Hotel); white water rafting; bungee jumping; canoeing; microlighting; game walks and drives; elephant back safaris; helicopter flights over the Falls and cruises on the Zambezi. Enthusiasts can experience a selection of the area's wildlife on foot, by vehicle, in boats along the Zambezi River, on horseback - and even on an elephant. A Vintage train excursion, canoe safari, flight of the angels helicopter ride or visit to a traditional African Village all provide memorable experiences for travellers who especially want to complement the enjoyment of seeing The Victoria Falls. For the more adventurous there is white water rafting, bungee jumping and the Gorges Swing on offer!
The Victoria Falls rainforest is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
Weddings & Honeymoons
The Victoria Falls Hotel is a delightfully romantic setting for weddings and honeymoons. From the charming little in-house chapel to the luxurious Honeymoon Suites, this hotel is a bride and groom's delight. Wedding guests and honeymooners are given sparkling wine, Belgian chocolates, red roses and a fresh fruit platter on arrival, with a champagne breakfast served in the privacy of their rooms. Specially chosen gifts from the hotel are offered to wedding couples and honeymooners on their first night. The Chapel is available for private ceremonies and weddings. Outdoor receptions can be organised in the hotel's gardens with views overlooking The Victoria Falls Bridge.
The Centenary Room is available for meetings for a maximum of 20 people. The room is set up in boardroom style and is for use by in-house guests only. This room is also available for small executive meetings and private dining.
